Not the most exciting thing to be doing but also, sometimes I just really enjoy vaguing out and drawing stuff which the player will (hopefully) not really pay that much attention to because there’s a whole lot of more important stuff to be staring at.
I know I want some stuff moving around the background so I went back to look over how I’d drawn the asteroid field first time round. Quite simply, thankfully. Again, if something works I don’t really want to change it drastically because, well, because it works! But with things being at a higher resolution and with fewer chonky pixels, I still needed to have a bit of a fiddle.
I can’t exactly say I went overboard here, you know? Not even slightly! But not everything needs to be exciting, some things just need to look fine in place.
